Union rejects another postponement from employer

In the press conference held by the trade unions to the PSCBC on 24 April 2018 (statement forwarded yesterday), the employer’s request for a postponement of the negotiations to 3 May 2018 was rejected .

The parties subsequently decided to continue negotiations today, 25 April 2018, to deal with issues, other than the ones on which the employer is still seeking a mandate (i.e. salary increase, housing and pay progression) and with regard to which it vowed to return to Council on 3 May 2018.

Parties will be considering whether the other issues on the table can be separated from those with direct financial implications by concluding an agreement (or more than one agreement) on them.
